"The Tarkanian Basketball Academy is the best thing that's happened to Las Vegas youth basketball in years! TBA is one of the best run youth basketball programs that we've ever been involved with. Our son Jordan has been playing on the 7th and 8th grade Shark's team, skillfully coached by Brian Sitter, for over a year now and TBA has far exceeded our expectations!"

Youth Winter Recreation League

I would like to welcome you to the 2006 Winter Semester of Tarkanian Basketball Academy. Here at Tarkanian Basketball Academy our coaches are absolutely outstanding, we have a new “State of the Art” facility second to none, and we work everyday to achieve the excellence associated with the Tarkanian name. These three aspects of Tarkanian Basketball Academy separate TBA from your average youth sports league.

Coaches
Tarkanian Basketball Academy takes pride in having the best youth basketball coaches not only in Las Vegas but in Nevada and the Western United States. Most of our coaches have college/professional playing and coaching experience. You will not find a group of more qualified coaches anywhere! Tarkanian Basketball Academy coaches are responsible, hard working, motivated, and dedicated to providing youth basketball players the best basketball environment possible. Our coaches are always working to improve their trade. It is our goal to have all TBA coaches CPR/AED certified and “TBA Coaching” Certified by January 1st, 2006. We feel that this will further separate our already overwhelmingly qualified coaches from the competition.

Facility
The 29,000 sq. ft. facility houses two high school regulation and one College/NBA regulation sized basketball courts with hardwood floors and bleacher seating for all courts. The TBA Sports Complex is easily accessible and centrally located in Las Vegas behind the Palace Station at I-15 and Sahara. Other venues include: Garside MS, Christ the King Community Center, and Del Webb MS.

Tarkanian
Founded by coaching legend Jerry Tarkanian, the Tarkanian Basketball Academy is immediately associated with excellence. It is our goal at TBA to work hard every day to reach that level of excellence. We look forward to working with you and providing a level of excellence second to none.
